I managed to update my rotator and shutter controllers today to the newer Lunatico Beaver units since, after several years, my shutter was losing its connection with the main rotator controller. This upgrade is NOT a drop-in of new units. It requires some cutting and drilling but it's not that difficult. In the end, everything worked perfectly. Note that you MUST use the new Beaver ASCOM driver with this upgrade. The older Arduino driver isn't compatible. Here are a couple of pictures of the installation in the rotator unit. Note that the motor connections at the top are, from left to right, Blue-Red-Green-Black. You may have to change the switch wiring to get up/down CW/CCW right.
