For some time I've had the inside shutter 1, the one that opens, jamming into shutter panel 2. These panels are connected by a wide strap of stiff plastic with two inline small screws and cap nuts on top (outside the dome). See video attached.
I was washing the dome and noticed some scratches down the middle of shutter 2, see photo. The good news is the shutters don't slam into each other now that I have the shutter motor kit working. I did add some Teflon tape over the scratch and hopefully that will stop the scratch from getting deeper.
Anyone else had this going on?
