Beaver losing connection to the dome, showing a "Error" status.

Now the question is; is it failing due to a separate wifi connection problem? Or is it failing due to a common problem with the beaver pcb? I would switch back to usb with a new cable to determine this.

I will swap the cable out & switch it back to USB & see how that goes. The WIFI connection is to a Orbi router which is about 3' away from the beaver unit inside the dome so I seriously doubt that's where the problem lies. My mini-pc has a hard wire connection into the router.

While your at it, check the power connection to make sure it's tight. If you have a DMM check the output of the power supply. If not, maybe swap it with one of equal or greater capacity.
