I'm having trouble. Seeking advice. I installed the rotation motor, tested it pretty thoroughly, and it worked well. I gave it many complete rotations in both directions. Then I installed the shutter motor, and it worked very well. I should have known it was too good to be true - the addition of the shutter motor must have affected the shape of the dome. Now when I rotate the dome, the track will move away from the rotation gear, specifically when the shutter motor is passing by in the area of the rotation gear. I have adjusted the rotation motor as close as I can get it to the track, but the problem persists. I'm stumped. I guess I might consider the spring modification to maintain tension. I was hoping I wouldn't have to go there. Does anyone have any suggestions?

The alignment of the aluminum supports is also critical. I have one support that had to be forced into alignment even though the base was dimensionaly round. The bolts that hold the wheels through the aluminum supports should be considered as spokes and point to the center of the dome.
