How did you affix your charger so it can charge when the shutter is closed?
Right now I've got a few clamps holding it to the lip of the walls but this isn't great. I was thinking about building some kind of wood based support but I'm curious what others have tried.
Manual is pretty sparse on the how pics here.
Anthony, please consider mounting the charger on top of the wall lip, depending how long the charging straps are. and the sag of the charger mounting plate. I just got a replacement shutter motor and charger with short straps and will mount that on the top surface of the wall lip.
Hi Steven, I was wondering on how this should or could be done be done. I like it and I'm going to use your idea on my end. Thank you, Anthony
This is edited from yesterday, I referenced the wrong side of the mounting locations and have added two photos.
The white plastic bracket that the charger is attached two has two holes in it. Once you line up the charger contacts, large washers, with the hanging washers on the motor you need to drill the upper lip on the wall and bolt the charger in place. Another PIA and having a helper is really recommended. I mounted the white bracket on the underside of the wall lip and used a couple of spacers to keep the charger from sagging away from the motor contacts.
