Stability of NexDome in high winds

What is everyone's practical experience with NexDome in high winds? The 7 small L-brackets seem like a minimalist approach to assuring stability in high (>50 mph [>80 kph]). Thanks for any responses.

Thank you, Steve. Very helpful. What do you mean by "using steel cable around the dome sunk into large concrete anchors?" Do you mean guy wires (cables) from the NexDome to a secure ground anchor?

When you use a D-Ring and J-Hook, I guess you must be using some kind of elastic cord between the two.

I guess they are called guy wires. I've seen them used on antenna's, trees that lean from the wind, tents, etc. Now that I think about it, they could only be used on the outside walls where the uprights are attached of the NexDome because those are stationary. I'm not sure how you'd attach them to the dome itself, at bolt points where the sections are attached, where they are temporarily used during high winds otherwise the dome wouldn't rotate.

Another option is to have a very sturdy cover over the NexDome with say D-rings along the base that can be staked or otherwise attached to anchors (in ground concrete blocks with eye bolts) with rope/ratchet straps.
